Against this background, the BDBOS, as a long-standing active member of The Critical Communications Association (TCCA), is taking over the deputy chair of the Critical Communications Broadband Group (CCBG) working group. Luz Fernández del Rosal from the BDBOS will replace Emmanuelle Villebrun from the French Ministry of the Interior in this role with effect from 23 April 2020 and will work closely with the Chairman of the CCBG and advisor to the Finnish digital radio operator Erillisverkot, Tero Pesonen.

Andreas Gegenfurtner, President of the BDBOS, and Tero Pesonen, who chairs the CCBG and is deputy Chairman of the TCCA Board, congratulated Luz Fernández del Rosal, who currently coordinates the authority's activities and cooperation at international level at the BDBOS, on her appointment.

The TCCA promotes the development and dissemination of standardised professional solutions for mission-critical communications and works closely with standardisation bodies such as the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) and the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) in this context. The TCCA working group CCBG is dedicated to the task of promoting the development and implementation of global standards and technical solutions for users in mission-critical or business-critical areas.
