Nancy Faeser, Federal Minister of the Interior and Community, visited the BDBOS yesterday, Wednesday.

After a brief personal exchange, Andreas Gegenfurtner, together with Frank Buddrus, head of the management staff, and the BDBOS department heads who were present, provided an overview of the future topics of the BDBOS. The importance of a uniform, nationwide, secure and highly available infrastructure, the need for modernisation and stable and reliable funding were highlighted.

Afterwards, the Federal Minister was given a tour of the ALDB's Network Management Centre NMC to gain an insight into the work of the BDBOS-owned limited company.

The Minister was impressed by the diversity of the BDBOS's tasks and thanked everyone involved for their commitment and dedication.
