The European Police Congress is taking place in Berlin on 16 and 17 April. The event is one of the largest specialised conferences on internal security in the European Union. BDBOS Vice President Frank Buddrus spoke today at the congress at the start of the strategy forum about the future of mobile broadband communication for public safety authorities and organisations.

Under the title “Mobile Broadband Public Safety Digital Radio - quo vadis?”, Buddrus explained why Public Safety Digital Radio saves lives, why standardised broadband data communication in a self-controlled network is indispensable and what requirements are necessary to make public safety broadband a success story.
